2 nights @ Cameron Highlands

We finally got our 1 week holidays from the toturing long semester!
So we decided to go Cameron Highlands for stress releasing.. It was a last minute plan though..
People like me loves the nature! *HOHOHO*

For Pasar Malam, if you are looking for satay and fried mushrooms, it is on Friday and Saturday only.. They only open every day during school holidays..

Gareth with his Hot Milo.. The first night, we went to a very expansive 'chu char' restaurant..

In the morning, we misses the hotel breakfast.. So we went to D'Chennai Curry House for some Indian food..

If you are there, do try their Roti Bom!

The second night, we went to another shop in Brinchang.. The above is the fish with soy sauce and ginger..

Chef Leonard in the houz!

Chef Leonard from IMI University, Switzerland is in Penang!
For your information, KDU uses IMI syllabus in the Culinary course..
And IMI is top ONE in the H&T industry while top 4 in the culinary field..
I was updated till then..
LOL!

This man is very cool in the way that he speaks and they ways he conduct the demos!
I love his style in the 'always maintain your work station clean.'
Personally, I hate messy work place!

How we start our morning..

Dim Sum..
Yes, pretending to be so chinese.. I remebered my form teacher when I was in f5 said that 'you chinese never eat dim sum?' and most of the time he sarcastically said that chinese **** is very short!
o.O'
Yea la.. He is half mat salleh.. Hahaha..
After being introduced to such good Breakfast, I am proud to tell everyone that Tai Tong Restaurant @ Cintra Street Penang serves the most Hardcore Dim Sum!

Some of the snacks we ordered.. Porridge, pork lou mai kai, siew mai and pai kut wong!

Say cheese!

My bro and I made a mini Oreo Cheese few days back..
It was so tiny, I managed to give a piece to one of my friend only..
The rest was kept at home for my mom and dad..
Mother's day present..


Tadaa.. First time making cheese cake.. It came out not that beautiful but was tasty!
I will bake another one one of these days.. Still got ingredients left..

My Tuesday.. If you're interested..

After French class, which we got pranked! There is no exams! LOL
Then went over to Queensbay to kill some time.. 5 hours to next class is not a good thing to stay in KDU.. Because people like us cannot keep our hand still we will be barred if anything goes wrong..
One scary thing in KDU.. Beware!

Since we are heading south, we went over to BJ housing area to taste the best pan mee in town..

I had the soup one..

After that, we went over to YOUTH PARK.. Chill lah.. Very hot!
And it is only 2pm plus..
To BE HONEST, Youth Park during noon is not bad at all.. It is cooling and a great place to relax..

A La Carte

Monday.. Which is yesterday, we went to KDU for lunch.. Yummy yummy..
Some of the things are already finished by the time we went..
And we finished up most of the unsold foods.. Hehe..

Bala had his frozen cendol.. He was unable to finish it as the service staff cleared it too soon..

The best Oreo cheese cake on earth! Good job ah bu!
