Another Day in Paradise

Hell yeah! We reached Lost World of Tambun after a very full lunch at Ong Kee..
Lost World is about 15-20 minutes drive from Ipoh town..
Thanks to Obalala, we finally reached our destination.. It was a hot and humid day where everyone cannot wait to jump into the pool..


Go Go Go.. People taking fire need assistance! Wow.. Seriously the car park is huge.. We parked far far away at the other end cause it is cooler there.. 6 packet of salted chicken in the car!

We cam-whored with the meow meow statue..

And we found an interesting map of LWT! Awesome place to have a map.. No body can get lost here man..

Rich man bala queueing for our tickets.. The price of one adult is RM30.oo while a child is RM24.oo!

Our tickets and a packet of fish/bird food.. Can fee some birds in the petting zoo later on..

Or you can feed the fishes in the pond..

Then we went to Kapua cave.. LOL! Still cannot swim yet!

And played some outdoor games..

And yes finally we went swimming in the wavy pool! There are 5 kinds of water slides available but we did not get any pictures from there.. Wet mah.. Believe me the slides are awesome! Each and everyone is unique.. Remember to bring a partner cause a float must have 2 passanger!

And then the prize giving ceremony.. Obala won a very cute bear!

The we went into the children pool for this.. Awesome man!

Getting enough of swimming? We went over to fuel up our body.. Hah.. Damn this place is like beach in the middle of the lime hill!

The man-made beach! Still the same only that the water is not salty and there are no longkang fishes around the shore..

And then we walked to the back part of LWT towards the Petting Zoo!

And we came across this ape/ orang utan/ gorilla friend and climb on him..

Paradise man this place.. Go have fun with your family, friends and your other half.. Guaranteed satisfied cause this place is maintained very well!

Ong Kee Chicken Rice - IPOH

Why Ong Kee? (Ipoh lama)
- Ong Kee has air- conditioned restaurant alike style!
- Our IPOH tour Guide, Gareth suggested us to have lunch in Ong Kee
- The last time we went to LOU WONG, the food is awful
- The nepal worker can speak canton!

My favourite! Cili padi siam with soy sauce..

Bean sprout! Got raw sprout taste! FML.. But Okay lah..

They serve real chicken rice! Rice cooked from chicken fats!

Chicken gizzard and liver.. Quite unique taste!

Too bad the chicken feet is not done.. Have to wait 2 hours more :(
Obala made a statement before we reach the shop ' Bo Chiak Kei Ka wa lang Bo Tui Chu' OMFG! Luckily we made it home :)

Since we are in IPOH, Ofcourse must tapao the original salted chicken lah..
AUN KHENG LIM is the largest supplier of Salted Chicken..
Again it was recommended by our tour guide :)

I bought a box and belanja my friends at the badminton court this morning :)

Penang Hill Hiking by Foot!

Planned, Invited people in facebook, Receive feedbacks and then finally walked/ trek up the tallest spot in Penang Island, Penang Hill..
Sun 14th will be the first successful hike.. My friends want this hike to be held each month.. Well another one coming up very soon.. Just give positive feedbacks and we shall rock and roll again!
Hiking is fun.. Plus all the greens and nature who would reject such activity? Hiking is FREE and if anyone would like to run away from stress, you can certainly hike to Penang Hill..
Don't worry cause you will never walk alone (There are many people who loves the route!)

We use the tar route from Botanical Gardens.. You can hire a Jeep too! Remember to negotiate with the drivers :)

46.. Second resting place.. Everyone was chilling there and they saw a yogaman ft. aeroplaneman.. I went to the resting zone 46 to refil some fresh water with comrade Bala and Gareth..

And we reached the top of Penang Hill! The Railway Station Front Gate! Love the wind here :)

Time - 2 hr 45 min (With lots of stopping and resting)
Condition - Everyone is satisfied!

Finally, we hired a 'roller coaster' downhill as Gareth needs to go faw lunch with his family :)

KUTA BALI (Hawker Centre)

Kuta Bali is an awesome hawker centre which is located beside Permata Swimming pool.. Nowadays, we often go to that part of Penang Island so we must try out the special hawker treats there.. The food court is filled with numerous hawkers stalls I think there are 30 -40 or maybe 50 of them.. there are many many choices to pick from Asian, fusion, super fusion and local delights.. These are some of the few plates we ordered..


Ah Belle ordered the honeydew sago.. I totally hate it while she enjoys eating it.. Hah.. Everyone got different taste buds huh! To me, they should use real honeydew puree instead of some really fu*ked up chemical taste honewdey essence?

There are alot more dessert choices to pick from..

Badminton at Permata Court!

My friends and I had a Badminton game in Permata Court in Farlim/ Paya Terubong.. It was my first time there.. Seriously.. But as a Penangite, finally I went there already after 20 years!
It was a Badminton hall which offers 12 Badminton courts.. Arranged 4x3, wooden court, neat netting and has a stainless steel high level chair in each court..
We went in the morning and the court rent is RM4/ hour.. Very Cheap.. There is a mini mart, with a Japanese Racquet brand, Masuka that sell drinks and badminton stuffs!


This is my sifu and also the Thursday Badminton game organizer.. Charles plays here frequently..
