Orange & Black not forgetting Silver

I've took down this old bicycle parts, then sand it, then spray paint it and it is still not done..
I don't have the parts to replace it you see..

Should give it to the pro Mr. Lay Sheang!
Merdeka day is nearing too.. 2 more days..
And everyday it is raining cats and dogs..

How to send to the pro?

Anyway, there are some progress I did to the bike..

Anyway, we are forced to learn Illustrator Cs3 maybe next time I can try using that.. Hehe..

To wrap the parts that are not supposed to be painted..
Then paint a base coat layer so that the paint and finishing can stay..

Spray paint the colour you wanted.. I chosed orange..

Spray paint, polished, washed, oiled and fixed back..

The front part..

The bicycle looks like this before I put my hands on it..

Now, it is just simple and shiny.. Lighter too.. No more rusts..

Anyway, I still got long way to go..

Need to fix these back:
-Front and back brake, the wires and the arm thinggi..
-Handlebar grip
-The front basket
-Front and back tyres and their tubes
-Right side pedal
-The new bicycle stand
-Malaysia flag!

And I threw these away:
-Chain sheild
-Lock

And I want these on it later on:
-Dynamo & Lights
-Audio
-Reflectors
-Stickers which says ''The orange Hawk''

The New Family Member

The new mountain bike at home..
It is a RB which means rockbike.. RB is the brand of it too..
We got it from CCI in town..

A simply RB..

Uses Shimano(SIS) gear system.. Shimano is also Nexus.. Meaning I've been using the system for quite some time..

Simple.. 21 speed..

RockBike Crankset.. The pedal is coated with some super thick and hard plastic.. Do not break it even if it crack.. Or you will have a hard time cycling next time..

I love this part.. Look at the rear suspension/absorber.. Like a can of NOS but this one does nothing.. I like it tightened not loose.. If not back ache after cycling..

The New RockBike at home.. ISO 9001 Certified..

BORING ( PART #4 )

Heih Heih..
Suithonglive is back.. With more bicycles..
This one is god damn old, it is 30 years old already..
Im gonna turn it into some hardcore 'bicycle potong'..
If you have no idea what it is about.. Pray hard God help me to finish it up..
Cause many parts are rusted and some are broken already..
The name is Dragon..

My itchy hands took every thing off already.. Except the chain.. Should I break it?

Heh! This is the back wheel and the drum brake.. Everything rusted.. Now my brain is rusted too!

Aha.. This is an interesting stuff here! The bicycle LOCK! Cool huh?

HAHA.. PLEASE don't rain tomorrow.. Please fill my wallet up with pocket money.. Please heal my stupid leg muscles..

BORING (PART #3)

Few days back, my mom and I sent the bicycle to a shop in Mount Erskin.. The nearest shop we could find already loh..
The Old uncle is the previous owner of Lay Sheang motorcycle shop @ Pulau Tikus.. The one beside the police station..
He passed his business over to his daughter and son-in-law.. Then, he open his very own small shop to repair old bicycles and motorcycles.. His supply quite cheap tho..
Lay Sheang is his name lahh..

The tube was replaced but not the old tyres.. He said they are still ok!

Next, I sand and washed the rusts away so that the spray paint process can be carried on.. Wrap the other parts with masking tapes and old news paper to avoid the paint dusts/ particles..

The handle.. I also got skills in spray painting know! Don't play play.. But I wonder how long it will last lah..
BUT, I think it is better to get a new front with absorbers.. Tarak spring tarak syok dah!

Next, I carved some stickers for the body.. NEXUS is my bike's brand/name.. Made an illegal one for it..

Then, the SPECTRUM URL as promised.. Heih heih..

Tadaa! Everything is as good as new.. 10 years old not yet counted as antique lor..
Nvm, I will save another bicycle which is older than me one of these days..
The one that is used my my mom when she was in secondary school!

Now, I can start training for the 'save the environment' plan by the mad fellas..

BORING (Part #2)

Today is only the second day of my semester break!
Anyone who is in the same boat as me, let me tell you a story..

Let's do something for our environment..
Few weeks back, some of my friends suggested a way to save our environment. We are actually car pooling everytime we go to college.. BUT, instead of 4 people in one car, we thought of cycling to college.. Of course we must start very early in the morning or we will inhale the stupid carbon monoxide..

I told them it was a mad plan.. Since I tried cycling from my house to my beloved secondary school once.. It is not cool or a happy thing when your whole body sweats and you must concentrate on the traffic..

And they say they would give it a try.. So since they wanted to do it, maybe I should show some support lorr..
First thing first.. Get my (I think 10 years old ) mountain bike to do some service and repair..
I abandoned it when I have a bike in form 4..
Still in good conditions lahh.. Long time ago mountain bike don't have absorbers lorr.. Unless you buy the one with carbon fibre body which can be carried with only one finger..
Hehe..

Things to be done.. Get a new tyre for the back wheel.. Pancit d! o.O''

And grease the gears.. Rusty.. Actually we changed it once.. From 21 speed and decreased to I forget how much already.. Because the parts cheaper mah..

Before I continue my story, today which I thought will be sunny, suddenly rained so f* up

heavily..
Removed all the old torn stickers on the body, washed and later after blogging, I will polish the spokes..

It rained, so i have no mood to continue the service part.. Instead, I fix a motorcycle muffler on my bicycle.. Yeah, one day I will put some engine and carburetor on the front as suggested by Gareth.. One Day it shall move.. But for now,I have to drive it down to CCI in town to get it repair.. The shop in Pulau Tikus seems disappeared..

So, do you want to ride this baby?

AHA.. Better stick to the 'save the environment' plan lah..
Bicycle means use your leg and cycle.. Tht's why 'bi' is there..
