What do you want from me?

I think I am making some progress here.. After 2 weeks of goyang kaki and not thinking of what to do, tmrw and next week will be the submission date for our pastillage cake.. Damn, short semester what also short..

I don't know how or why but when it comes to pastry, sometimes I can think positive and make the stuffs possible.. Maybe I should just drown into the pastry line.. Grrr..
Do you know that I wanted to pursue my Degree too.. BUT it is very impossible :(

This is made from Royal Icing.. Not Rojak icing ya! Well, it is like one of the most professional skills in cake decorating because every piece need to be symmetrical.. Using a 'paper' piping bag, steadily pipe the icing on the OHP film.. Well hope that it hardens and does not crack.. Damn first time doing I found out that I have steady hands.. There are some butterflies in the kitchen too..

Steady arms thanks to the gym.. BUT I think I need to build more brains than muscles.. Lack of studies makes me stupid.. Damn memorising 5 chapters in Marketing and Supervision each is a headache..

Anyway, we will be doing our 1st of 3 assignments tomorrow after class.. Damn class is from 9am to 6pm.. Yeah need some ENERGY in the night to make more progress!!

No Progress..

2010 is supposed to be the best year lahh.. BUT until now, it has bring nothing good to myself.. FML FML!! Stress sekali.. Maybe I should think it over and put some confidence in myself..

Do you know that we are supposed to submit the choice of the hotels we are going to by the end of this semester.. End of sem is on February! I would like to go KL for training but there are alot of problems that stops me from going down south.. So, I shall pick Rasa Sayang and Golden Sands lah.. Since it is in Batu F and I love the place..

Damn This Semester is short and there are 3 assignments (Comparison of 2 establishment, Find Hotels Hierarchy Chart & explain the chef's role and Some 'skills' teaching stuffs) then comes 3 project which is The Pastillage Cake, Chocolate 3D and also the styrofoam (Pls not that apek again!) Started non of the assignments above and hope to do it by next week..

I think I need to do things on my own already since ego of chefs has won over our emotions.. I think people will eat us up instead of help lah.. ZZZZZ! Hate the environment as I am not throughly an 'evil' leader or subordinates.. I love togetherness..

Fucking hate myself lahh.. I need to go to the gym and lose some mutherfucking weights.. BUT, nowadays go gym and lift weights.. LOL! Im like so braindead now and what is taught cannot be remembered.. Maybe I don't like the subjects or the lecturers? XD And do you know that if we get total average marks for all semester at 70 or above, we can get another special certificate form IMI! Anyone reading this, faster go fight for the special certificate..

Life sucks when your Birthday is on the EVE of CNY.. Everything is expansive from the 7 course meal(lou yee sang included), QE2 and cruise.. I think the club is full too.. Dudes, want to hit down the club since we had not go to such place since we entered college, promise our gf and ex's?

FTW! It is even worse when you're broke.. 2010 tarak progress here.. Damn I need to update my blog too..

Ferry Ride - Midnight

First time I took ferry in the midnight with my friends! We went there quite early actually.. Then don't know why, on the Friday night, there is only 1 ferry operating.. FTW right? So we waited for the queue for about 1 hour+ before getting our ride..
Obala fetch us all to join him for the crazy joyride.. Haha!
While waiting, we went out and talk to some strangers.. Everyone has to wait patiently for the midnight ride..

New Year Eve

Everyone despite yound or old, gathered at the alfresco area in Gurney Plaza for the countdown to celebrate 2010! We chosed Winter Warmers as there are less crazy people and it is filled with family with kids! I think I am old already too..
Not really much familiar faces I saw during eve in GP.. Probably UPR and Beaches are the new destinations for countdown-er! LOL..

Tea and snacks.. First round.. We sat there at about 10pm till 12..

Jam went over to Sega ady and we could not locate him.. LOL!

Let go of the helium filled balloons! 2010 baybeh!

Then the fireworks on GP rooftop! *Bing Bang Boom* and we walked up the stairs to lvl 6 and get the car to go Batu Ferringhi.. Not really jam but I only met Obala, sue and her friend.. Mr. Long went into sunset so we did not go in cause of the blocking..

Chilled outside HRH and was amazed by the dark knight light.. Yeee Haa!!
Later on, we went down to my hs there and met the female cow! Chit chatted till 5am in the morning..

SUMMER BEACH

Hey Hey Hey.. If anyone of you who drop by Batu Ferringhi, you might want to stop at Summer Beach (bistro like) after a tiring walk in the night market.. This is a very chilled place with peaceful atmosphere which have 3 part of seats; in the house, tiled area and the beach area.. So if you are wearing shoe, don't go down to the beach lorr.. The place is good for family reunion and for little kids too!
Anyway, ample parking space are available at RM3..
SUMMER BEACH is opposite HAPPY MART and just right beside TARBUSH.

Laminated menu, be surprised with the price of their food and beverages!

Had Tiger beer, some nugget, french fries, milk shakes and stuffs later on.. We sat there about 3-4 hours.. Really relaxing..
Tiger is on offer RM43 - 6 bottles..
Sisha is also available at RM 30..

Good news! There is a spa in Summer Beach.. Fish spa and crab spa.. FTW? Crab spa? Do I hear wrong? Someone go justify please I heard a lady screaming lahh..
Then only we go get our legs molested by crabs! Preferbly tiny ones :p

2010 RESOLUTIONS

My 2010 resolutions and wishes are obviously longer than 2009 because of the ''2nd'' stripe in my age.. I am now a 20 years old dude who has done nothing to my own life.. Future for chefs in Malaysia is a Hardcore pain.. Plan now to avoid disappointment easier than die later right?
It is seriously time to start planning for 10 years to come ain't it?

Okay, lets start with my wishes first (ain't a gay business here ok?)

- I wish to own a running shoe for gym purposes
- A watch for industial use later in this year
- My friends to be at my side all the time (or when I need them)
- Industrial Placement in a fine 5 STAR HOTEL!

Here are my resolutions:

- Lose more weight; my previous resolution worked!
- Get a kitchen job.. It didn't work but I'll try again..
- Brush up my PR skills; I wanted to be anti-social last year but not this year..
- Used Thasi's quote but this year I'll stay humble while dreaming big from schizzow..
- Excel in my Culinary Skills; Got my first Gold medal for Pastry Competition in College.. First thing to boost my confidence?
- Would like to keep in touch with my high school friends..
- To be a better Gentlemen.. Yeps, all men must have this quality and I have to learn my manners..

That's about it.. The above is already too hard for me to handle; I shall stop here and be merry on the first day of 2010.. People who are just starting their college life, value your high school friends and take good care of yourself..
